Our Interior Designers in Philly Redesigned Ruth Chris Steakhouse

The unique design for Ruth’s Chris Philadelphia is all about the “right amount.” The juxtaposition of masculine vs feminine and vintage vs modern. The vintage lined brick entry with glowing red iron canopy and modern gas lanterns designs make you tempted to see what is beyond the glass entry façade. What is special and unique is the variation of spaces that at first seemed to create a tough challenge yet it soon became a most alluring feature. Our interior designers in Philly made sure that each unique space created has its own character unlike the other.

Upon entering one is struck by the geometric stone floor contrasting with the inset lace patterned glass vanes that provide just enough of a glimpse of what lies ahead. The beamed ceiling running throughout the front room is a play of off white high gloss plaster against off white cork. To the right is the stunning bar that features a furniture inspired back bar offering a series of lacquered armoires against a textured backdrop of vintage brick washed in light. The bar face is clad in hammered bronze topped in white marble. Dark planked flooring provides the perfect backdrop against the cream wainscot columns, off white communal tables and custom lighting featuring modern crystal chandeliers vs black/gold twisted pendants. A signature Beth Donner Design element in the bar environment is the outstanding custom art pieces that dress the walls by famed artist “Devon”.

Adding to the allure are two more dining rooms with a character all its own. Ruth’s Chris with its roots in New Orleans we felt it fitting to pay homage to Cyprus, an indigenous wood species of Louisiana. The rustic warmth of the Cyprus clad ceilings and beams against the plush emerald green booths, custom carpet and exciting art features including an infinity wall tempts the customer in. The smaller sister room “The Champagne Room” boasts custom Cyprus cabinetry, planked wood table, high backed chairs, custom chandelier composed of glass baubles and provocative imagery.
